Veteran Ministry Build
Aug 3 @ 8:00 am – 6:00 pm

This is a community wide build project that will benefit Bud (Purple Heart veteran of Hamburger Hill) and his wife (a double amputee). This family was featured at both the Ride for Freedom and the Tribute to Our Freedom.

Glory be to God. The fundraising and planning are complete for the 2019 Veteran’s Ministry build Project.

A special thanks to TruBlue Contracting who will be onsite leading the build and keeping everything to code.

Preliminary Cleaning Crews  July 17th 10am.
“Your Task Genie” is leading volunteers to go out and move household goods into a trailer to give us a nice open area to do sheet rock and flooring.  Contact Scotty to coordinate at your convenience and receive the address.

July 20, 10am (Preliminary work)
We only need two volunteers this date to work with the contractor to upgrade the bathroom to a handicap compliant bathroom. Please email Scotty to coordinate this limited need and receive the address.

August 3rd (Main Build Date) 8am to 6pm.
We will be widening doorways, hanging sheetrock, installing flooring, installing an electric chair, upgrading the outdoor ramp and some basic home maintenance. Many hands make light work. Construction experience is not required.  TruBlue Contruction is providing  the leadership and heavy tools. This would be a wonderful day for local businesses to have a team building day and volunteer in your local community. Aug 17 is the alternate rain date. Lunch will be provided for all workers. Please bring work gloves and any basic tools for construction and yard work you may have. Please contact Scotty to register and receive the address.
