Get Connected to Small Groups at Bethany

Small Groups provide an opportunity to deepen your love and commitment to God. Here at Bethany, we have opportunities for you to connect with others through many different small groups, studies and classes for adults. These studies teach you to grow in your spiritual journey as well as participate in Christian fellowship with one another outside of Worship. Please look under the categories for topics that interest you. We hope that one will match your needs.

If you have any questions or are interested in joining a group, contact Keri Crawford.

**New information will be posted as it becomes available.

Jan 23 @ 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ centered 12 step program based on Biblical principles with the purpose of letting God restore our mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health with His healing power.  During the 6 month program, men meet on Tuesdays to take step towards recovery, which is the core of the program.  Due to confidentiality, please contact Pastor Nelson in the church office if you would like to attend or if you would like some resource material.

Less Fret More Faith @ Wescosville Campus, Studio
Jan 23 @ 7:00 pm – 8:15 pm

Join the Strength in Suffering Group in the Studio at the Wescosville Campus on Tuesdays at 7 PM, as they begin an 11-week journey into Max Lucado’s book, Less Fret More Faith, which will help you invite God to reframe the way you face your fears and win the war on worry.

By His power, you will “be anxious for nothing” and experience the “peace of God, which surpasses all understanding”.

Sign up in the Bethany Book or contact Keri in the church office if you plan to attend.

Mountain Movers – Men’s Group @ Wescosville Campus, Conference Room
Jan 24 @ 6:30 am – 7:30 am

Stop in on your way to work early on Wednesday!  Stay for a short while or join us for the hour and gain strength for your day.  Join this group and connect with guys whose focus is how to live out a Godly life with all the human struggles.  Currently, this group is studying the Gospel of Matthew through The Visual Bible and the Parables: Stories Jesus Told participant guide.  This group welcomes new participants to join them as they read and study the Word of God and form bonds of friendship.

Pray With Purpose; Live With Passion @ Wescosville Campus, Choir Room
Jan 25 @ 10:30 am – 11:30 am

Join this group as they study Pray with Purpose; Live with Passion by Debbie Williams, which sets out to redirect the focus from us to God, who is divine and who can accomplish all things.  Using the acronym PRAY for Praise, Repent, Ask and Yield, this study reveals more of who God is and how He alone is capable to meet our every need as we recognize who He truly is.  New participants are always welcome.

Wednesday Night Men’s Group @ Wescosville Campus, Room 214/216
Jan 25 @ 4:36 pm – 5:36 pm

Join this group of men for an in-depth study of two letters written by Paul to the church in Corinth.  In this first letter found in 1 Corinthians, Paul addresses questions brought from the Corinthians themselves, both in person and by letter.  In his second letter found in 2 Corinthians, Paul writes to comfort the brethren and to further encourage them in faithfulness.  During this study, the group will also be tying the scriptures to today’s current events.  This group always has an open chair and welcomes any man at any point in his journey to join them as they grow in Christ and with another.
