May 2012 Newsletter

Dear Parents,

Can you believe that we are coming to an end of our school year? It has gone by too quickly. We have concluded with our Spanish and Assembly programs. All of the children have learned a great deal, we hope that you have been hearing the "holas" and the songs!! We will wrap up our year by reviewing our shapes, numbers and letters. Our class will also be learning how our Lord is always with us and that we can depend on His love always.

Some things ahead: Monday, May 7th is our closing program at 7 pm. The children are so excited about this important evening and have been intensely preparing for it. The program will be held in the MPR (gym), our refreshments will be served there also. Children can be dropped off in the classroom; please have them arrive no later than 6:45. Please bring all food items, ready to serve, to the MPR upon arrival that evening, paper products can be brought in anytime before. Thank you for all of your help, we do so appreciate it all.

Wednesday, May 9th we will have a "crazy hat" day. Please have your child wear into the class their favorite or silliest hat.

Thursday, May 10th will be our last time together as a class. We will be celebrating the end of this year at Chuck E. Cheese's. Please meet there at 11 am. We have tables reserved for the class and parents. Please fill out the roster outside the classroom so that we will have an accurate count. The package is $7.00; it includes 2 slices of pizza, unlimited small drinks and 16 game tokens. Please put the appropriate amount in an envelope with your child's name on it and the number of people who will attend. Please give this envelope to the teachers no later than Wednesday, May 9th, thank-you.

A sincere thanks to all of you! Your children are true gifts and we have felt privileged to have had the chance to get to know them this year. We wish them continued success, joy and happiness. Please encourage them to come back and visit--they hold special places in our heart as they are our "first" Fabulous Fours!

Stay blessed,
Gina Galiardo and Jennifer Smigielski
