Can it be?

It really does not seem possible that May will soon arrive! Seems not long ago at all that we were greeting all of your children at the door in September, and it has been a wonderful whirlwind of a year ever since then!

May will be a short month for Preschool, but we will be learning about how Jesus returned to heaven and has a special room waiting for each of us who believe in Him, and we do have a “mystery” Bible verse for May. Not a mystery for long, though.  You will be hearing it on May 3rd  at our Closing Program! Our program will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary, and children will meet in our room at 6:00p.m. During this short month, we will continue to reinforce and review our letter sounds and our number, money, and quantity recognition skills.

Although our Closing Program is at 6:30 p.m. on May 3rd, we do have regular class on May 3rd and the following week. After our program, we will have a reception, so please join us! Also, please check our sign-up sheets to let us know how many people will be attending, and please sign-up to contribute to this celebration. We thank you in advance for your willingness to contribute to this event. This group of Fantastic Five Parents has been wonderful about bringing in snacks, and your generosity has been appreciated by all, students as well as teachers. Please mark your calendars for Thursday, May 10th at 12 p.m. for our year-end outing to Cedar Beach Playground. Bring a picnic lunch, we will meet at the park for a fun time with our preschool class. This will replace our final class on Thursday, parents are encouraged to stay, and younger siblings are welcome. If the weather does not cooperate, we will use either Wed. the 9th or Fri. the 11th as our rain date for this event.

May might be a short month, but it will surely be a busy one! Know that we wish you a wonderful and relaxing summer. God Bless you all – Parents and Children. Please come back and visit us! We will miss you.

In Christ’s Love,
