BETHANY CHRISTIAN PRESCHOOL Dear Parents, Our Bible verse this month is Psalm 23:1. We will focus on how
God watched over David and always watches over us. We We have a field trip scheduled for the dentist on April 9 for the am class and April 21 for the pm class. The reason for the different days is because we are working around new office hours when the dentist is seeing patients. More information will be given out as the dates get closer. We will have a chart for each child in class encouraging them to brush in the morning and at night. They will receive a sticker for the times they brush before coming to preschool. As a follow up to our unit "Too Smart for Strangers", I have scheduled a policeman's visit to our classroom. This will take place April 16. The purpose of this visit is to reinforce to the children that they can keep themselves safe. We have a special event taking place for us this month. The moms will spend a session with us here at school on April 24. The morning session will take place from 9:00-ll:00 while the afternoon session will be from 12:30-2:30. These are approximate times so please keep this in mind. We will be celebrating some of our summer birthdays this month. Now that the weather is changing, we will be taking the class out more often to enjoy the sunshine and nature, especially on Thursdays. Please dress your child accordingly. You will notice that we have many crafts now that the children are required
to cut. We are striving to develop this small motor skill. Many of our
crafts correspond with the alphabet letter for the day. I am pleased to
inform you that the class is recognizing letters and the sounds they make.
We will conclude our alphabet study this month but still need your help.
Keep sending in those pictures! The children's alphabet books are coming
together nicely.
