Soccer Camps Bethany is sponsoring 2 camps this summer at our Macungie Campus. Co-Ed Soccer on July 16 – 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for ages 8-14, the cost is $85. And, Kinder Soccer on July 23 – 27 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for ages 4 – 5, the cost is $60. These caps will be run by Push The Rock. You can register online at www.pushtherock.org
Fabric Donations The sewing ladies from Bethany are making some large banners to be hung in the church at Macungie. We would appreciate donations of cotton fabric in the colors of white, cream, light and dark blue, purple, mauve, yellow, red, teal and green. If the fabric has a small print, we may be able to use it, but no large print please. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Memory Chest Over the next few months we will be highlighting Pastor Jim and Gloria’s work to recognize how the Lord has blessed Bethany. Please reflect on how you have been blessed here at Bethany and share your thoughts with us. We will be accepting letters, emails, photos and videos, and highlighting memories leading up to the Brashear’s celebration worship service on June 17. There is a memory box in the narthex at the Information Desk and a link on our website to submit your memories.
Compassion Carpool Volunteers are needed to take parishioners who were recently in the hospital to doctor appointments and to therapy appointments. If you are able to serve in this mission, please contact the church office at 610-395-3613.

Grace Café / Hospitality As we look to decorate for Father’s Day, we are in need of men’s neckties. If you have any neckties that you no longer wear, please consider donating them to the church. There will be a small collection bin in the cafe area. In addition, donations are needed for Saturday and Sunday Fellowship time. We would like to try to get some healthy snacks: Animal Crackers, Pretzels, Cheese, Fruit, Carrots and Celery. We are also requesting hot chocolate packets and with spring and summer right around the corner, we will begin taking donations of powdered lemonade.
Bethany Book In each row there is a black binder know as the Bethany Book. Inside you will find special inserts, connection cards, offering envelopes, pens and weekly sign-up sheets for various opportunities and events at Bethany. Please be sure to pass the book down the row for everyone to see.

VBS 2018 Vacation Bible School “Shipwrecked: Rescued by Jesus” at the Wescosville Campus will take place June 25 – June 29. AM Session is 9:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. PM Session is 6:15 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. We are in need of VIP’s now: Volunteers, Items & donations, and Pre-registration for your children. Youth Wednesday Night Dinners We invite you to dine at the church on Wednesday nights. Dinner will be offered in Fellowship Hall from 5:45 p.m. – 6:15 p.m. for families prior to youth group. Wednesday night youth group dinners will go until the end of May. We ask that each family contribute a small donation to cover the cost of the meal or sign up to prepare a meal. JR. High Small Groups This JR. High meeting time is geared to have a time of fun and fellowship, and to discuss how to apply God’s word in our daily life. Wednesday nights 6:15 p.m. – 7:45 p.m. for students in grades 5th – 8th at the Wescosville campus.

He will be speaking about his involvement with the Dallas State Prison and how the book fo Philemon deals with repentance & forgiveness. New Youth/Boys Activities – After the meal, there will be fun activities focused on building frienships and having something physical to do. Purls: Join this group of ladies on the third Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m. in the Studio, as they stitch prayer shawls, lap robes and baby blankets for those in need. All stitched items are prayed over before giving them to the recipient. Shawls and lap robes are also donated to various nursing homes. This month, they will also be stitching winter hats, mittens and scarves for children in Allentown. ALL knitters, loomers, crochet stitchers or want-to-be stitchers are welcome to come at any time. Celebrate Recovery Celebrate Recovery meets EVERY Thursday from 6:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. For anyone over 18 dealing with hurts, habits or hang-ups; not just addictions. We have found, through Christ, healing can be found. Child care is available!

Food Pantry and Allentown Children's Project
Food Pantry and Allentown Children’s Project Help us fill 28 bags every week for the Allentown Children’s Project plus the emergency food bags for people that come in off the street. Each bag gets at least 1 box of cereal, peanut butter, jelly, canned chicken or tuna, fruit or pudding, chili or beef stew, soup, mac-n-cheese, spaghetti and sauce, etc. WE CANNOT ACCEPT BABY FOOD. Please no expired items.
Saving God’s Children Sponsors Contribution envelopes are located at the literature stand near the Information Desk.
Operation Christmas Child We will continue collecting small to medium sized, new or like-new, clean stuffed animals to place in the shoeboxes later this year.
