Back to Bells Ice Cream Social Tuesday, September 19th at 7:00 p.m. at the Macungie Campus. Have you ever wondered what it takes to ring bells and be a part of Bethany’s two handbell choirs? Bethany has a beginner bell choir (no music reading experience necessary. You just need to count to 4!) and an advancedbell choir. Come to our fellowship evening of fun and games and have all of your questions answered. We will have “hands – on” time and instruction and plenty of one-on-one time with our dedicated and exprienced ringers. Backpacks will be collected in the bins in the Narthex during the months of August and September. Please drop off gently used backpacks and school supplies for the children in the Allentown School District who otherwise would not have these items. Bethany Book In each row there is a black binder know as the Bethany Book. Inside you will find special inserts, connection cards, offering envelopes, pens and weekly sign-up sheets for various opportunities and events at Bethany. Please be sure to pass the book down the row for everyone to see.

Purls: Join this group of ladies on the third Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m. in the Studio, as they stitch prayer shawls, lap robes and baby blankets for those in need. All stitched items are prayed over before giving them to the recipient. Shawls and lap robes are also donated to various nursing homes. This month, they will also be stitching winter hats, mittens and scarves for children in Allentown. ALL knitters, crochet stitchers or want-to-be stitchers are welcome to come at any time. Financial Peace University A new FPU class will be offered onSundays at 6:30 p.m. beginning on September 17 with a preview on September 10 in the Large Group Room at the Macungie Campus. Constitution Class You’re invited to join this 6-week class in Room 307 at the Macungie Campus on Thursdays at 7:00 p.m., beginning September 21, as we partner with Faith & Freedom Coalition of Pennsylvania to teach the Constitution from a Biblical world view. You’ll discover the Biblical principles built into the Constitution that forms the firm foundation of a strong and healthy society and what happens when that foundation is eroded away by not following God’s leading.
Journeys with the Messiah Beginning October 5, you’re invited to join group on Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. in room 312 at the Macungie Campus, as they take this one-of-a-kind photographic journey created by Michael Belk that depicts the modern-day revelance of the ceturies-old messages of Jesus. The result is beautiful and thought provoking images that are comforting, enlightening, full of hope and challenging.
Bethany Basics Starting Point for those that are newer to our church and want to know more about Bethany, we invite yuo to join us for a short informational session held either on Sunday, October 1 at 11:00 a.m. or on Wednesday, October 4 at 6:30 p.m.
Friday Night Fellowship join us on October 6 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall at the Wescosville Campus. This month we will feature a mini chili cook off where everyone is sure to cast a vote and have lots of fun. God, Guide My Family Young Adult Group join this group of young adults, off site, every other Sunday, September 30, at 6:00 p.m. After watching a faith-based video, the adults will discuss and reflect on the lessons they learned while the children play and build Christian friendships with their peers. Food Pantry and Allentown Children’s Project Cupboards are BARE!!!!! Please provide only the items requested. No glass jars and no expired or soon to be expired dates, no open containers, please. Canned Chicken 5 oz, Canned Tuna 4.5—5 oz., Canned Fruit, 20 oz. jelly, 18 oz. peanut butter, 15-24 oz. tomato sauce, 15 oz. vegetables (including potatoes), 15 oz. chili and beef stew, 10.75 oz. soups (vegetable, tomato, chicken rice/noodle), 6.9 oz. Rice-A-Roni, 7.25 oz. Mac-N-Cheese, 15-20 oz. fruit (any kind), 15 oz. canned spaghetti, 11-28 oz. baked beans, 4-pack pudding cups, 6-pack applesauce cups, instant oatmeal (8-pack individual serving packets), ramen noodles. We are no longer saving plastic bags. Thank you for your generosity.

Twice Blessed is our inner city outreach store located at 931 Hamilton Street, Allentown in The Caring Place. Twice Blessed is now accepting new or gently used clothing, household items, sheets and towels. We NO LONGER accept any TV’s, electrical equipment, mattresses or box springs. Please drop off your items at the store between 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday thru Saturday. You can also drop your items off at Bethany Church at the bottom of the ramp near Fellowship Hall.
