I was born in Cleveland, Ohio and will always consider that my hometown.  After high school I worked in a variety of positions at Blue Cross of Northeast Ohio.  It was there that I met Tom.  The 1980's were such a whirlwind to me. It was wonderful - it was exciting - it was hectic!!  In 1980 Tom and I started dating.  In '81 we became engaged.  In '82 we were married.  In '83 our son, Tommy, was born.  In '84 our son, Brian, was born.  I had a miscarriage in 1985.  In '86 our daughter, Becky, was born.  I was pregnant most of 1987 and in January '88 our son, Greg, was born.

In 1989 we moved to Macungie, Pennsylvania.  That was very hard for me.  I gave it 5 years.  I was willing to leave home for 5 years but then it would be time to pack up and go home to our beloved Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians and the CAVS!  Here it is 22 years later and I have no intention of leaving this area.  Our children became rooted in this area with their sports and their friends.  Tom and I became rooted in this area because of Bethany Church.  Bethany was a much different church back in 1989.  Pastor Jim use to teach a Sunday School class.  Between Sunday School, Worship Services and the Bible Study group Tom and I attended, I learned more about God and His Word in one year than I had my previous 30+ years.  I loved being involved with the church.  Tom and I taught first grade Sunday School for five years and I was the director of VBS for six years.   I helped with the Children's choir and was a Lay Leader and a member of the Church Council.

In 1998 I started working in the church office. Currently, my responsibilities are the church membership as well as being the support person for the ministries under Ken Hoover and Del Heiney.
