I was raised in the Lehigh Valley, went to Parkland High School, and spent a few years going to college at Liberty University and Philadelphia Biblical University. My wife Carolyn and I have been married for 12 years - we also have two boys and a Schnoodle. In my time away from work, I love to be with my family, play guitar, and to golf.
Ultimately, I've always been drawn to the Lehigh Valley for ministry.
A few years back, before kids and houses and dogs, and with much prayer, I decided to go to a trade school for audio engineering with the purpose of finding a job in the recording industry. God then orchestrated an entry level job at Lehigh Valley's own Angel Mountain Productions, where I got practical experience working with industry professionals in a live recording environment (Anton Fig, Joe Bonamassa, G.E. Smith), archiving vintage audio with Universal Studios (Allman Brothers, LL Cool J), doing miscellaneous projects for the studio using ProTools, and working as their studio guitarist. At the same time I took on a part-time job with Faith Church in Trexlertown, starting up a contemporary service and leading worship with a team of musicians each Sunday morning.
As much as I enjoyed the studio work, I always felt called to do ministry full-time. Two years after starting at Angel Mountain, God led us to Bethany Church. I was hired to be their Media Technician - to shoot and edit video, and to help execute the services for each weekend. Less than one year later, I was full-time - doing all types of graphic design, video and audio editing, and basically being of whatever assistance I can be to Ken Hoover, our Director of Music and Worship.
Looking back over the past seven years I can see His hand through it all. God has been so good to my family, and He has graciously provided so many opportunities for us to grow and serve here at Bethany. I look forward to His continued leading for our church, our families, and our future.
