Dear Friends in Christ:

Welcome to Bethany United Methodist Church in Wescosville, PA where our Mission is "To Love, Obey, and Proclaim Jesus Christ!"

Bethany's history can be traced from the early 1800's when seven local churches on the Lehigh Circuit of the Evangelical Association were served by one pastor and one assistant. In 1968 Emmanuel E.U.B. Church of Wescosville, PA, Salem E.U.B. of East Texas, PA, and Zion E.U.B. Church of Emmaus, PA combined to form the Bethany United Methodist Church of today.

As listed and briefly described in this website, Bethany's Christ-centered, Spirit-filled, Bible based programs and activities are embodied by more than 70 ministries. It is through these ministries that we prayerfully strive toward our vision and values shown at the bottom of this page.

As blessed as Bethany's past and present have been, the future promises even richer opportunities to serve Jesus. An expanded Children's Ministry will have innovative teaching and learning centers. A weekly coffee house ministry has been started to communicate the Gospel to our community youth, and we are training our youth to be the Church leaders of tomorrow. New initiatives for adults include a small group program for personal spiritual growth and seminar events to strengthen marriages and families. To accommodate these, as well as many other examples of growth, plans are underway for significant expansions to our facilities.

If you have questions that are not answered in this website, or you would just like to talk to us, please visit or call the church at 610-395-3613.

We invite you to worship with us soon and often.

Your Servants in Christ,

Jim Brashear
Senior Pastor
