Bethany's Youth Pastor - Del Hiney
Amped Middle High Amped Middle High is for youth in 6th-8th grades, and is a place where you can come and have a ton of fun, eat your heart out, play some sweet games, and learn about God. The run down is like this: 7p.m. - Kickoff: sign in, catch up, ask God to be with us during the
night Life Senior High Life Senior High is for youth in 9th-12th grades. It's a place where you can hang out, connect with friends, beat Del at most of the games, eat some food, listen to music, and see how God's word applies to your life, right where you're at. You're in High School, and we know it, so we'll talk about issues that matter to you and we'll have a good time doing it. Here's what you're in for if you come out: 6p.m. - Kickoff: Sign in, catch up with friends, ask God to be with us,
and get ready for a great time Sunday School Sunday School is an important part of our youth ministry here at Bethany and we want you to be a part of it! If we're so pumped about the Bible and think that it's important to know something about it, then we need to be teaching you how it applies to your life, how to look stuff up in it (it can be confusing!), where to find certain topics, etc. That's what Sunday School does. 6th grade takes the stuff you learned in Children's Church, starts showing you that those stories can be applied to your life, and gets you familiar with the Bible. We use the Student Life Bible Study curriculum for grades 7-12. It's a six year progression that will ensure that you have a solid knowledge of the Bible before you leave our ministry and move on to college. As a Christian it's important to learn about where we came from; and even though the stories are old and the names are hard to pronounce, each and every story can be applied to your life in the 21st Century. When and Where? 9:15 6th grade - Conference room 10:45 All grades - Fellowship Hall Classroom Small Groups Our Small Group program is designed to be a place where you can get together
with other friends and take your faith to the next level. We want you
to be able to grow as a Christian through praying for each other, encouraging
and challenging one another, asking questions about what you believe and
building relationships with the people in your group. We want you to own
your faith so that when you get out of High School and into college you
can stand strong; influencing the world instead of being influenced by
it. Groups are led by our adult leaders, outside of the church. Small
Groups are being formed now for grades 6-12! For more information on our
Small Groups, contact Del.
